My work explores the vast and complicated question of human consciousness, blending organic abstract forms with various types of figures to capture the entanglement between individual and universal experience. I engage with these themes through investigation of emotion, relation, spirituality and philosophy. I engage with these experiences by use of drawing, printmaking, painting, photography and ceramics. I am linked to the unpredictable and raw nature of these materials that dictate the flow of my work that relates to the journey of life. 

A core theme of my approach is built from visions. Many of my works are developed out of my own realizations from crucial moments in my life when I was ready to understand a deeper message. I create these themes intentionally to ask greater questions about what it means to be here now. Within this interaction, I aim to craft gentle reminders about stopping and diving deep into the raw little, but meaningful moments that reveal themselves to us each day.

At its core, my goal as an artist is to formulate a visual imagery that inspires contemplation for introspection. I also want to relate to the world and the individual psyche on a deep emotional level that fosters embrace and understanding. I believe that art has the ability to hold a mirror up to ourselves to reflect the good, the bad and the inbetween through our own individual filters.
